What makes the Urban Lady 3-Speed a standout is the Shimano internal gear system. This is widely considered one of the easiest gear systems to operate, making it perfect for riders who want more capability without the complexity. Because all shifting takes place inside the rear hub, the chain never has to move between sprockets. This results in a smooth, low-maintenance ride with far fewer mechanical headaches or messy adjustments. You can even change gears seamlessly without interrupting your pedal stroke.

While it features only three gears, each one is precision-tuned for a specific riding need. Gear one offers very little resistance, making it ideal for tackling hills with ease. Gear two provides a moderate, sustainable pace for cruising between 5 and 15 mph. Gear three offers the highest resistance, allowing you to hit higher speeds of 15 to 25 mph on flat straightaways or downhill paths. With only one cable for the entire system, the design remains uncluttered and easy to manage.

The ride is exceptionally smooth and effortless. Our signature wide tires and dual-spring saddle absorb the shock from bumps in the road, ensuring your journey is soft and comfortable. For stopping, we have kept the classic coaster brake system; simply pedal backwards to stop, just like the original beach cruisers.
