Collection: Seatpost and Clamps
Seatpost and clamps are a vital part of a comfortable ride. Seatpost height and angles are super important to having no pain or lost of pain on your hands and neck. Some advance rides get fitted on to make sure they have the right height on the seatpost and stem .
Other times some jerk just steals your seatpost and just need a new one.
Best Way to know your seatpost size is to read the old ones numbers at the bottom of the seatpost. If you are missing it then second best is to measure the opening with a caliper measuring tool . Third options is to get a piece of paper and trace the opening circle and take it to a bike shop. 25.4, 27.2 and 31.8 are the most common sizes but its best to to guess and do one of the three options previously mentioned.
Seatpost clamps are going to be the same as far as measuring them but will be bigger because of the additional metal in the frame.
A 25.4 seatpost will use a 28.6 clamp size.
A 27.2 Seatpost will use a 28.6 clamp size
A 31.8 Seatpost will use a 34.9 Clamp size
